How to Use Fine Breadcrumbs

For a classic crisp coating, prepare three shallow bowls: flour in the first, beaten egg or a suitable alternative in the second, and breadcrumbs in the third. Coat the food in flour, dip it into the egg, then press it firmly into the breadcrumbs. Fry, air fry or bake until golden. The fine crumb gives a neat, even finish without heavy clumps.
